Everything you need to know about starting a practice
Did you just graduate Chiropractic College? Finish an associateship? Want to start your practice? Where do you begin? The answer can be found in this course. The purpose of this course is to systematically cover the steps that it takes to establish your own practice. This is a business oriented course that covers all aspects of practice development from a business perspective, and not a philosophical one. This course will objectively discuss the differences in each management group, giving you the knowledge to select one if you decide to do so. If you decide not to utilize a management group, this course will teach you the skills that are required to create a sustainable practice.
Business Plans, demographics, funding, equipment, taxes, W9, forming a corporation ... We cover it all
The ultimate purpose of this course is to help develop a business mentality in the practitioner and not just give you another model to follow. This course will cover an extensive amount of business knowledge as it relates to the real world. After completion of this course, the practitioner will be able to think like a business person. The practitioner will be able to form a corporation, file all relevant federal and state paperwork, pick a management group, pick a software system, establish a clinic, understand demographics, think like a business person, properly furnish a practice, learn money management skills, learn the basics of insurance coding and billing, create a bullet proof business plan, look for funding, and finally learn what NOT to do when establishing a practice and limiting failure risks.
Understand one thing, the business world is very harsh. 80-90% of small businesses fail in the first couple of years. This course is going to be harsh, based in reality, and will tackle the issues that lead to the failure of many practices. It will make you stronger and ground you in the reality of business, boosting your success rate.
